Bishop Peter Coffin visited Saint James' parish on Sunday 16 November to confirm 17 young parishioners. The Bishop led the candidates and the congregation through a renewal of their baptismal vows, and spoke of the importance of a Christian life. After the service, photos were taken of the new confirmees with the Bishop. Everyone then gathered in Tomkins Hall, where Bishop Peter handed out certificates, and we all celebrated with a parish party.
