Ordination of David Andrew
On Thursday 13 May 1999 - Ascension Day, Bishop Baycroft ordained four new Deacons at Christ Church Cathedral. Amongst them was our own David Andrew; a strong contingent was present from Saint James' for the ceremony. Indeed, all of the candidates were similarly supported, and the Cathedral was full.
Following the service of ordination a gathering was held, and here David had the opportunity to greet many of his friends who had come from Saint James' and other parishes to be a part of this splendid occasion.
