Nancy

Sunday 18 August was the last day at Saint James' (for a while at least) for Nancy Murphy, our interim priest, who has been with us since the beginning of May. In part of her sermon, she told us how much she had enjoyed being with us; at the end of the service it was clear that this feeling was reciprocated by the congregation. Gifts presented to Nancy included the Holy Spirit stole, shown above. A luncheon was held in Tomkins Hall with lots of good food and a special cake. All of us at Saint James' wish you God's blessing, Nancy. Come and visit us again soon!
