Farewell to Sue and John

After 31 years of active life in Manotick, Sue and John Fleck are returning to England in July. They leave scores of friends in the church and in the community. Beloved by all choir members, 'Sarge' Sue has been at the centre of every choir activity for as long as most of us can remember. John - climber of mighty mountain peaks - has been prominent in the village, especially in the Legion. On Friday 18 June Pamela Best arranged a choir farewell party for Sue and John at the Britannia Yacht Club. It was a lovely balmy evening, perfect for a smiles-and-tears goodbye au revoir.
