Last Night at the Proms (cont'd)
The musical portion started out with the best of British music, performed by the Maple Leaf Band together with the Blackburn Hamlet Choir. Once audience participation got well under way, we had a sea of waving flags. As always, "Rule Britannia", and of course "Land of Hope and Glory", caused a sensation.
