The Men's Group, dormant for some years, has been re-launched. On Saturday 28 May eleven men gathered in Tomkins Hall to share breakfast, to chat, and to plan. The group has decided to meet monthly, on the fourth Saturday at 8:00 am. Initially these meetings will be held in Tomkins Hall, but the group is looking at the possibility of meeting in a local restaurant from time to time.
In addition to the social function of the meetings, occasional speakers will be invited, and church projects may be undertaken. In fact, a small one task was done right after the meeting, when Father Rick and several men cleared out some surplus cupboards from the storage room adjacent to Tomkins Hall.
All men in the parish are most cordially invited to attend. If you plan to come, simply notify Ray Armstrong or Spruce Riordon ahead of time.
