Time and Talent Auction
Saturday 18 November 2000
Parishioners gathered in Tomkins Hall on 18 November to hold a special auction. On the block were goods and services - especially the latter - offered by various members of the Parish. These included items from handyman services to gourmet meals to manure tea (hey, it's for gardens!).
The event was masterminded by Frank Sisson, with proceeds of over $4,000 going to Saint Luke's Church, Belem, near the Amazon River. Music was supplied by Sandy and Tim Stanutz. |
Even the youngest people present obviously enjoyed themselves. |
